You know her from being your local go- to for live music, the one who is always bringing the vibes to all our favourite venues here in town but what you may not realise about our own Olive Mae is that her career is about to take off.
You may have seen her up on that big stage at Good Day Sunshine last year, alongside luminaries Angus & Julia Stone and Boy & Bear and since then she has been busy hustling hard. She graduated from the CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth in January, opened sold out shows for her long-time favourite, Australian country music royalty, Sara Storer, and she headed to Tasmania to record her next EP with multi ARIA & Golden Guitar winning producer, Matt Fell. She is very excited to release her first song from this EP, El Caballo Blanco, inspired by the very interesting life of her Grandfather, Ray Williams. This launch will combine elements of all her favourite kinds of country music, from deep heartfelt songs to the upbeat bangers that we all love to dance to.
