What?
Oliné is a Norwegian alt-pop artist, producer, and songwriter who entered the studio for the first time at just two years old (fun fact; her first recording was as the Norwegian voice of Boo in Monsters, Inc.). In 2024, she moved to Naarm to focus on music full time, resulting in her debut EP Irregular Symmetry, set for release in March 2025. Inspired by artists like Björk, Kate Bush, and AURORA, Oliné blends introspective lyrics with dreamy soundscapes and experimental arrangements, crafting a unique sonic universe.
Known for her soulful and honest vocal performances, Oliné invites listeners into a world of metaphorical storytelling. Her debut EP explores a mix of pop, trap, funk, rock, and more, with each track carefully crafted to express its own emotional essence.
To celebrate the release, Oliné will perform a special EP launch show at The Bergy Bandroom on April 10th - a night of immersive sound, raw emotion, and genre-bending performances. Supporting acts include Emma Yue, an indie-folk artist whose music serves as a cathartic escape, capturing the delicate chaos of mid-20s life with unnerving honesty. With influences spanning from folk-pop to indie rock, Emma’s intimate songwriting and evocative storytelling create a deeply relatable and moving experience.
Also joining the lineup is LUCKYMAX, the latest four-piece neo-soul powerhouse from Naarm, led by Harrison Clarke (piano/vox) and featuring Mark Aird (drums), Aydin Gunes Sari (guitar), and Josh Ten (bass). Taking inspiration from Dijon, D’Angelo, Mac Miller, and Jaco Pastorius, LUCKYMAX blends jazz-infused grooves with rich harmonies and infectious energy, delivering a dynamic set that will get the crowd moving.
