What?

Meena De Silva is a Sri Lankan-Australia pop/R&B artist whose music journey began at four years old. With a strong classical foundation, she played piano, violin and trombone in high school. Influenced by pop icons like Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Shakira, she now writes, records, and performs her music at various venues in Adelaide.

Meena released her debut album, Call On Me, in 2021, and her current writing partnership with Adelaide-based deep house and indie electronic producer uomo has garnered global attention with the release of their tracks ‘Love You Right' and 'Desk Job'.

Meena was handpicked to be part of the WOMADelaide X Northern Sound System Academy Program in 2024, which culminated in her performance at WOMADelaide 2025.

Opening for Meena De Silva is Emerauld.

If you love emotional lyrics, powerhouse vocals, and songs that hit you right in the feels, Emerauld is your next obsession. Hailing from regional SA, the 19-year-old singer-songwriter has been making waves since she first dropped original music at just 14, catching the attention of Triple J Unearthed and earning a spot in the Unearthed High Yearbook in 2022.

Blending raw emotion with indie-rock and pop punk energy, Emerauld’s music is packed with all the angst, heart, and loud belters you need in your life. She’s taken her sound to huge stages like Semaphore Music Festival, New Found Sound, the Gov Main Stage, and soon—WOMAD 2025 (!!). Oh, and did we mention she also snagged a golden ticket on Australian Idol? Casual.

With a string of releases on the way, with In The First Place coming out on Feb 12, plus a launch show at The Cranker on Feb 19, Emerauld is proving she’s one to watch. Get on board now before she blows up.
