What?
Goldsmith Baynes is an exciting collaboration between Allana Goldsmith, a soulful contemporary vocalist with a beautiful mix of Maori and English languages, and Mark Baynes, a renowned pianist with jazz stylings. Together, they have created a remarkable body of work with their album 'E Rere Ra'. It features original songs that carry the essence of Maori culture, reflecting the ancestral folk wisdom and storytelling traditions that have been passed down through generations.
Goldsmith Baynes' music has been praised worldwide, and they are excited to bring their music to Australia for the first time, after show casing earlier this year in Toronto, Turtle Island (Canada). Reviewers describe their music as delicious, soulful, sensual, wise, and easily accessible. Their music has been featured on various radio stations internationally, including BBC Radio, Jazz FM (UK), CBC (Canada), and Radio New Zealand, among others.
