makes his highly anticipated debut tour across Australia this October. Renowned for

his dynamic fusion of samba, funk, jazz, bossa nova, hip-hop, and reggae, Curumin

will captivate audiences with his unique sound that pays homage to Brazilian musical

traditions while pushing the boundaries of modern genres.

The tour will take Curumin to Auckland, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and

Sydney, offering fans the rare opportunity to witness a performance from one of

Brazil's most exciting musical talents. Known for blending elements of electronica

with the deep rhythms of Brazil, Curumin's live show promises to be a dynamic and

immersive experience.

Luciano Nakata Albuquerque, better known as Curumin, is a highly acclaimed

singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Brazil. With a career

spanning over 20 years, Curumin has earned recognition both in Brazil and

internationally for his innovative fusion of genres like samba, funk, jazz, and

electronica. His 2017 album Boca was nominated for a Latin Grammy and won the

APCA Award for Best Album. Curumin’s discography also includes Arrocha (2012),

Japan Pop Show (2008), and Achados e Perdidos (2003).

Known for his dynamic drumming, Curumin has collaborated with major Brazilian

artists such as Criolo, Céu, Paula Lima, and Arnaldo Antunes. In 2020, he released

the single and music video Púrpuras. This September 2024, Curumin returns with his

highly anticipated new album, continuing to shape Brazil’s music scene with his

unique sound and visionary approach.
