About Albatross:

Formed in 1998 as a three-piece school band in Kathmandu with rusted guitars and old instruments, Albatross has made a landmark in the Nepali music scene and transcended the sound of Nepali alternative music. The band's fast tempos, signature chord progressions, and contemporary compositions have made them pioneers of rock music in Nepal, garnering a cult following and legendary status over 28 years.Albatross holds the distinction of being the only band from Nepal to play at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas—one of the world's largest events. Their extensive tours in the US and 11 countries worldwide demonstrate their reception by the global rock community.
