ZOLA JESUS, the masterfully dark songstress, is set to come down to Australia later this year, playing the Vivid Festival in Sydney on the 31st of May and then touring through Brisbane and Melbourne.
Proclaiming that it's not worth doing something that's already been done, ZOLA JESUS is not just another musician. A post-modern diva, her music is the product of a wide range of unusual and varied influences, from living with her hunter father in isolated woods, to reading Nietzsche and studying philosophy. Almost as impressive, her live performance is inherently spectacular, inspired as she has been by the philosophy of Situationism - that one can live art.
