UNFD are a full service music solution company with one thing in mind, simplifying the lives of their artists. With a jam packed roster of massive acts, UNFD are at the forefront of music relations and most importantly, are looking for an intern to join them!

Working with Marketing and Label Managers, the internship will provide great first-hand industry experience, with tasks ranging from "setting up a release to online and offline marketing of that release by helping build awareness and engaging with media and everything in between".

With the business constantly expanding and innovating, you will working in a vibrant and dynamic environment surrounded by driven people who are as passionate about music as you are. Learning from an experienced team, you will walk away with a rich knowledge of the industry and a deeper understanding the ins and outs of the music business.

Take note though, this internship is not for the faint-hearted. While the benefits are many, the work is challenging and this can become more of a lifestyle than a job. We need someone who is engaged and motivated to handle the tasks provided.

The ideal candidate will be:

Ø Aged between 18-22

Ø Able to do two days / week between the hours 10am – 6pm

Ø Melbourne based

Ø Organised

Ø Have a general knowledge of music media

Ø Be interested in music marketing and publicity

Ø Confident in ability to talk to people

Ø Willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done

Ø Passion for music and an interest/awareness of the UNFD artist roster - an open mindedness to all kinds of music.

Ø Computer / Internet Skills a MUST. Must know how to source music, research on the internet, source information, use social networks, email, and basic word processing products

Ø Have a basic understanding of graphic design and web-processing products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver). Person will be asked to do online courses in each product to get acquainted with them.

Ø Using proper English in a casual manner is extremely important. Being able to communicate and talk proficiently is very important to us, both in person and on the phone.
