WATCH: Kreayshawn ft. 2 Chainz, ‘Breakfast (Syrup)’

KREAYSHAWN recently released a track focused on the first meal of the day. Although I wouldn't recommend listening to this song first thing in the morning because your head might explode and I do not want to be responsible for that. The video is hilariously over the top, featuring Kreay and friends in the kitchen, blinged up, tossing pancakes and seductively feeding each other while spraying whipped cream onto each other's breasts.

2 CHAINZ adds a much-needed deeper vocal range to KREAYSHAWN’s high pitched squawking about stacks of money and grape syrup. Although the lyrics are almost offensively simple (“Call me Kreay Hefner- Playboy Bunny”), the backing beats provide the essence of true hip-hop with smashing thumping over skittish synth.

The track attempts to cover all the best things about the morning: pancakes, juice, bread, syrup- oh yeah, and pussy, thanks to 2 CHAINZ’s aggressive rap, which also states that if, “You don’t like what we doing then shut the fuck up”. Fair enough.

The lyrics will leave you feeling sticky and probably hungry, but the underlying beats are the hero of this track. The video is a fantastic accompaniment, the kind of clip that's just so ridiculous you can't help but watch it repeatedly just to be sure you didn't just imagine what you saw.

Okay 2 CHAINZ, I will shut the fuck up now.
