The good news just keeps on coming with Washed Out and Toro Y Moi just announcing co-headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne following their Laneway Festival dates. Earnest (Washed Out) and Chaz (Toro Y Moi) as they are known to their parents are old high school friends that have now gone on to remix each other's music, tour together and as well as both gaining success in their own right.
Washed Out's 2011 release Within And Without saw his production aesthetics tighten to a more polished sound compared to his previous work making us even more curious to see how he translates in a live setting. Toro Y Moi has also been heralded for his ability to take his blissed-out bedroom tracks to the stage. Oozing effortless cool and calm with seamless transitions and edits balanced with seductive 80s vibes and beats you can't help but move to - these shows are not to be missed.
