Give us a short description of your music: Storytelling, alternate country that is quite different to what is expected by that description.
What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? WAM's Nigel Bird introducing me to Joel Quartermain who single-handedly kick-started my songwriting and recording to date, culminating in my debut album being awarded album of the year at WA Country Music Awards.
Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? I've been partying for 47 years so I haven't noticed any difference.
What industry lessons would you like to take away from WAMFest? How others make a living out of this raped and plundered industry. No really, I just love listening to people plying their own original craft. We teach each other by listening and appreciating.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAMFest? I'm on early - 8pm Friday at the Basso and 8.20pm at PICA Amphitheatre on Saturday. If you're old like me and don't party like me you can then go home or go hard.
