WAMFest Focus: Legs Electric

More Legs Electric Legs Electric

Answered by: Kylie Soanes — Drummer

Band: Legs Electric

Give us a short description your music: Legs Electric play maximum rock'n'roll - and we play it LOUD!

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Getting to support bands that have been an influence - Ace Frehley, Baby Animals, The Superjesus, Uriah Heep to name a few. Also the support that we receive from fans and other bands is amazing.

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? We love to network, meet people and to hang out after shows. That's the best part about being on the road and playing the shows - the people. We LOVE a good party, so YES.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from WAMFest? WAMFest is a great chance to meet up with and talk to people in the industry here in Perth. It's always great to have access to the movers and shakers, and to get their perspective.

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at WAMFest? There are so many great bands and so much talent in Perth! A few I really want to check out: Bats, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Moana, Scalphunter, Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics, Rag N' Bone.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAMFest? We take a lot of pride in being a great live band - and this will be a special show because it's our last with our guitar player Laura (McCormack) before she moves to Melbourne.

When and where is your WAMFest gig? 5 Nov, Jimmy's Den
