How did you first become involved in the music business? Probably from being a barfly at The Grosvenor hassling staff out for shows for my first bands.

What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? Nutting out release plans/promo campaigns that factor in general label services. Firestarter have been growing for almost 15 years.

What topics will you be mostly talking about at WAM? Starting a successful music business, which I'm sure will cover some fundamental aspects along with elaborating on what works and why for Firestarter.

What do you hope to personally take away from the WA Music Conference and WAM Festival events? Given the scope of the panels and speakers I plan to absorb as much as possible. Totally looking forward to seeing a lot of the good artists that have become bloody excellent artists of late.

What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? Will the Australian music content cap on commercial radio be raised in my lifetime?

One piece of advice to make it in the music biz? You've gotta be very aware of your environment. Take the time to learn about your industry inside out to minimise those inevitable mistakes!
