If you could support any band in the world – past or present – who would it be? I’d love to say Beatles, but I’m not worthy. So I’m gonna play it safe and say absolutely Gwen Stefani.
You’re being sent into space, no iPod, you can bring one album – what would it be? Well that’s basically every childhood fear I have coming true, but I guess a Chopin compilation? To chill me the fuck out? Failing that though, definitely Outkast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Plenty to work through there.
Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? I peaked at my first gig after my first song, when an enthusiastic punter welcomed me with, ‘I’d rather listen to my phone ring’... It truly is a long way to the top. Luckily it’s all uphill from there.
Why should people come and see your band? We write nice songs and I know some preeeetttyy hectic chords... But seriously, the songs are surprising and genuine.
