Member/Role: Guitar and Vocals

Short description of your band and music: Likened to Vance Joy/Ed Sheeran

Best WAM-related story? My song Life Raft was a nominee for the WAM song of the year in its category. The song has had 37,000 plays on Spotify and the video had 480,000 views on my Facebook in August.

What do you think separates the WA music scene apart from the rest of the country? As a new performer to the music scene I would say WA has an incredible diversity of music and the quality of the performers are second to none.

What WA bands are you vibing on right and why? Methyl Ethel, Wanderlust

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAM? I am told I have a very unique voice and my music is positive and uplifting. My song-writing ability has just been recognised nationally by making the final of the prestigious Telstra Road To Discovery to be held in Sydney in December and I will be playing two brand new songs one which I will sing at the Telstra final. I will also be performing songs from my self-titled EP released in February which now has downloads and streams in 38 countries.

What's on the horizon for you? Having just finished school (one exam to go) I want to record more music and continue to grow my fan base in Australia with a national tour of some description and play more festivals.

WAM Festival performance: Sweet Oblivion, YMCA HQ Leederville, 6 Nov, 7pm.
