Short description of your band and music: Heavy stoner-rock riffs with doomy grooves and big melodic harmonies.

Best WAM-related story? We won Best Heavy/Metal Act last year!

What do you think separates the WA music scene apart from the rest of the country? Everything. It's really expensive to tour so you have less to do with east coast bands already. We have lots of really great bands that the whole world knows about now.

What WA bands are you vibing on right and why? Drowning Horse, for consistently being the heaviest band in Perth forever and ever. Cursed Earth have also been making massive waves this year in Australian hardcore, touring with US giants Code Orange and Harms Way.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAM? Because we're playing at the new Soggy Bones skate store, next to their massive indoor bowl with our good mates Foxes.

What's on the horizon for you? We're supporting Mark Of Cain in Perth (Nov 28) which is a huge deal for us, then recording our new EP in December.

WAM Festival performance: Friday 6 Nov, Soggy Bones Skate Shop
