Short description of your band and music: Odd alt-folk bangers and mash.

Best WAM-related story? Last year at the WAM conference, I took part in the 'speed-dating', where any attendee can get a 15-minute 'date' with an industry professional from various fields - management, booking, funding - to chat and network and pitch or whatever. I didn't receive my preferences or timetable in time, so I was unknowingly paired up with about eight industry heavyweights who I didn't know at all. I had to subtly try and work out where they were from and who they were and still appear intelligent and professional.. I just nodded a shitload.

What do you think separates the WA music scene apart from the rest of the country? 500 miles of desert and the uniqueness that isolation has to offer.

What WA bands are you vibing on right and why? Mei Saraswati because... just because holy shit -  see her and understand with me. Methyl Ethel and Mudlark are unavoidably amazing as well.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAM? We're lucky enough to be playing for a relatively captive audience at the WAM Awards, but hopefully people don't wait for our 15-minute set to take a toilet break? I think they should stay to watch us because we've got a hectically packed 15-minute set planned, full of bangers and interesting little moments.

What's on the horizon for you? We have an EP mixed and ready to go, a listening party to play, an album's writing and recording to finalise, some festivals to perform and attend and an early 2016 national tour to prepare our livers for.
