Sydney outfit Speakeasy have released the perfect indie punk rock summer jam with Lou Lou, and its new clip is just as fun as the song’s bouncing riffs and cruisy melodies.

The tune itself is a “tongue-in-cheek ode to an alcohol-fueled night on tour in Byron Bay”, and contains strong DIY elements while still pertaining a well-rounded look.

"Musically, Lou Lou is a step in a new direction for us,” guitarist Jack Schramko said.

“It's an upbeat, fresh start without completely abandoning the band's dreamy origins and influences," guitarist Jack Schramko said.
