Sydney indie act Peabody are back with a brand new track!
Premiering today on theMusic.com.au, Gemini is the first single off the group's forthcoming fifth album, A Redder Shade Of Rust, which is their first release since 2010.
“Gemini is about Ben's [Chamie] mum’s car that he used to borrow to drive to various gigs, parties, to take girls on dates... oh such fun. Ha ha ha," said the band of the track.
"We went to see Sidewinder play the Manning Bar one rainy Saturday night, only to find the entire front grill of the car had been stolen; the indignity! It was a fine old machine that took us to where to action was.”
The album is set for release on Friday 12 October, which the band will be celebrating with a show at Sydney's Lansdowne Hotel, with support from Lewis Goldmark. Check out theGuide below for all the info.
