VIDEO PREMIERE: Novo Amor - 'Anchor'

Ahead of the release of his debut album Birthplace later this month, Welsh multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Novo Amor aka Ali Lacey has released a beautiful live session of 2015's Anchor and we here at theMusic.com.au have the global premiere. 

Stripped back to just Lacey and a piano, the video highlights the delicate power of Lacey's voice and the strength of his songwriting ability. 

Listeners can expect more of this trademark sound on the new album as Lacey transports us to another world through poignant reflections that tug on the heartstrings. Covering many themes, speaking about the album he said that "no matter what each individual song is about, there's this sombre conflict across the record". 

"It contradicts the happiness with waking up every morning another day older, another day further away from your past."
