VIDEO PREMIERE: Lucie Thorne - 'Golden Plains'

Following the release of single Golden Plains, Lucie Thorne is back with a captivating video for the track and we here at theMusic.com.au have the exclusive premiere.

The second single from Thorne’s forthcoming art-pop concept album, Kitty & Frank, the clip, filmed and edited by Andrew Watson of Semi-Conductor Media, features Melbourne-based dancer Courtney Meachem. 

According to a press release, Kitty & Frank will trace "the wild true stories of young frontier woman Kitty Walsh and her lover, the charismatic bandit and bushranger Frank Gardiner".

“Golden Plains is one of the first songs I wrote for the album on the keyboard. It was one of those songs that kinda flies in fully imagined. I wanted to brew a sense of urgency, get inside Kitty’s head and inhabit a feeling of restlessness, anticipation... a feeling that maybe your whole world’s about to be turned upside down,” Thorne said about the track.
