"It really is about as live as it gets without us coming to play in your lounge room!”
Lior & Domini, aka beloved Australian singer-songwriter Lior and emerging talent Domini Forster, today reveal a video for their new single.
Premiering via The Music, Gloria (officially out tomorrow) gets its introduction to the world via charming live clip.
“When Shoelace Creative approached us about shooting a live clip, it seemed only fitting that Domini and I should return to the beautiful Montsalvat artist colony on the outskirts of Melbourne where we recorded much of our EP,” Lior told The Music.
“Shooting a live one-shot performance clip is always harder than it seems but they filmed and recorded it beautifully. I think it really captures the intimate world that Domini and I try to create in our collaboration.”
Forster added: “It was great to film the clip in a room that has so much character and history, surrounded by artwork and antiques and stained-glass windows.
“We’re planning a tour next year that focuses on performances in beautiful intimate spaces, and this one certainly sets the bar.

“With all the empty pews beside us, it felt a bit like performing for an invisible crowd. The fantastic crew at Shoelace filmed the clip and recorded the audio in one take too, so it really is about as live as it gets without us coming to play in your lounge room!”
Gloria will feature on the duo’s forthcoming EP, Animal In Hiding, slated for release on October 15.
