Lachlan X MorrisNewcastle-based artist Lachlan X Morris wanted to capture “the caffeinated energy” of new track Pick Up The Knife with its accompanying music video.
“What you get is jittery, uncomfortable camera shifts paired with frantic outfit and guitar changes in front of an obnoxious wall of amplifiers, all at a breakneck pace, all filmed on one fateful evening at RTN Studios in Newcastle,” Morris told The Music.
“We also cut in footage of Night Of The Living Dead, as it is on the public domain having never been copyrighted! It'd be rude not to, plus it adds to the tension and attitude.”
Pick Up The Knife is the first taste of Lachlan X Morris’ upcoming fourth album, Muscle Memory.
