VIDEO PREMIERE: Lachlan Edwards - 'Little Things'

To coincide with today's release of his debut EP, Once More, burgeoning Aussie songwriter Lachlan Edwards has today delivered the official music video for his latest single, Little Things, premiering on theMusic.com.au today!

The clip follows the 17-year-old Newcastle artist's incredible journey over the last two years which saw Little Things take out the #1 spot on triple j's Unearthed Roots chart in May 2018.

Adding to that, renowned Byron Bay musician Garrett Kato produced the debut EP with Edwards in his home town late last year.

"Little Things was a song I originally wrote when I was about fifteen, and my dad made a live recording of it at a local pub in Newcastle, and I just put it up on the triple j Unearthed site, and thought, well that's kinda done," Edwards said.

"But when I went into the studio last year, Garrett, my manager and I all felt it was a song that needed a re-visit so Garrett and I worked on it, changed a few of the lyrics and put it down in a day.

"Once I had a bunch of songs ready, we started looking for a producer, but we only had one name on our list, and that was Garrett. We had no other producer in mind, and he was 100% the right choice.

"The experience in its entirety was fun and easy and a huge learning moment. I loved working with him as he completely understood what I wanted and put his own producing spin on it, and he made my songs feel alive. I couldn't have been happier with the way they turned out."
