Melbourne metal duo Contrive are making waves with their starkly engaging video for latest single What’s Mine, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.
Searching for a unique location to film their clip, twin brothers Paul and Andrew Haug eventually settled on the historic pavilion room at the Melbourne Meat Market.
“We wanted to find somewhere elaborate with a lot of space rather than the stereotype abandoned warehouse approach, so we came across the Meat Market,” Andrew said.
“This room was perfect! It has some amazing history and interior which we captured using some killer drone footage, we feel this enhances the beauty of this location, plus the room was loud as hell which made it even better when we laid down our groove stamp.”

What’s Mine was taken from the pair’s 2017 album Slow Dissolve, following on from first single Connect-dead.
