"If you can’t tell from watching it, it was bloody freezing."

Alternative Melbourne songster Harris has unveiled the atmospherically charged video for his new single Satellites today, premiering exclusively with The Music

A minimalist visual experience, the video and tune celebrates the musician's new EP, OK Kombucha.

The singer, full name Noah Harris, said that the clip was intended to match the thematic elements of the tune.

"We shot the video for Satellites very early in the morning on a long stretch of dirt road in Warrandyte in Melbourne’s north-east," he said. "If you can’t tell from watching it, it was bloody freezing. We drank way too much coffee."

Harris added, "The video features my partner Em running towards the viewer in baggy grey sweatpants and a grey hoodie. It’s pitch black apart from an eerie blue light which is shone right at her. It’s all a bit mysterious. Why is she running? Why are her clothes too big on her? You’ll have to watch to find out.

"The whole video is a one-shot take. We actually ended up using the very first take of the day. We wanted the video to be sparse and intense like the song itself, and I feel like we accomplished that.”
