Grids & DotsAhead of the release of their new EP this week, Aussie indie outfit Grids & Dots are today dropping the music video for their latest single, City Skies, which is premiering on theMusic.com.au right now!
Filmed in their hometown of Sydney throughout Newtown, Camperdown, Kings Cross and Pyrmont, the Datu Bethke and Zhiran Zhou-directed clip (literally) takes you on a journey through POV.
“The song City Skies went through a couple different iterations before we settled on the fact that even though the lyrics are quite romantic and a tiny bit melancholic, the song itself should be a banger," the band told The Music.
"That juxtaposition of heartsick lyrics with a jubilant, up-tempo accompaniment.”
Grids & Dots' new EP, What Happens To Friendships, is out this Friday.
