Melbourne soul outfit Fulton Street are back with a powerful statement to make via a brand new music video and it is premiering exclusively today on theMusic.com.au.
Track Check Yourself features powerhouse Shannen Wick's soulful vocalist across a river of brass but the video itself is set in a dystopian future where main character named 'Zero' struggle to survive.
The song was written during the US election and Wick said they "wanted to challenge everyone to let go of their judgments for a better future".
The video echoes this sentiment and speaking of the video, director Dyllan Corbett said, “Despite its challenging nature, there is a prevailing sense of hope as violence is continually contrasted with the empowering choreography of Shamita Sivabala and Zero moves with grace and sovereignty through the space.”
