Beautiful music often speaks for itself, which is the exact case with Melbourne songstress Hannah Cameron and her new video for single, Just Leave Me Here.
A stark white background and a woman with her guitar; there’s not much more to this minimalist cut but Cameron’s delicate artistry makes the clip come alive.
The track is the second single from the singer-songwriters second album, I Lay Where You Lie. She describes the song as “a quiet anthem for the dejected”.
“It’s about feelings of hopelessness and defeat but it was actually written as a song of comfort,” says Cameron.
“I think sometimes we don’t want to be told that things are okay, we want to be heard and to feel understood.”
The singer will be hosting a single launch at Sydney’s Golden Age Cinema & Bar; for more information, head to theGuide.
