Adelaide singer-songwriter Emily Davis has graced this Friday with a brand new video for her latest single Hold On, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.

Filmed in Newcastle while the artist was last on tour, the clip illustrates the two sides that exist within the singer.

"The video for Hold On symbolises the transformative power of a really deep love. One character two faces, my oceanic doppelgänger and me," Davis said.

"It shows how hope and belief in love can transform you into a more divine version of yourself. It's always lingering under the surface but when a love this big comes into your life you transform."

The song is the first single taken from Davis' forthcoming LP You, Me & The Velvet Sea, with the musician set to head out on her accompanying album tour this May.

Tickets are on sale now; for more information, head to theGuide.
