VIDEO PREMIERE: The Dreggs - 'Your Love' (Live at Montvale, Montville)

Queensland indie-acoustic duo The Dreggs have just shared a brand new live performance of their latest tune, Your Love - premiering exclusively with TheMusic.

The tune, which came out just last week, takes the boys to Montvale in Montville for a very special stripped back rendition of the song.

"The video was shot in beautiful Montville, just inland of where we live, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, at a stunning venue called Montvale" the band explained. 

"One of our close friends and main media go-to, Hayden Cervi (aka Blonde Daddy), shot the footage while Brian Goodworth from Big Rock Studios recorded it. It was a really smooth process, with the whole thing being done in one go, which is unlike us as we are fond of making mistakes. We basically hooked in and one we finished playing we felt like we wouldn’t be able to emulate the feeling of the first and final take."

"The track tells the story of a guy who is deeply in love with a girl, who only shows love and affection when she is intoxicated..." Band member Paddy McCrae said of the tune. 

"While we were wasting time in the studio we started jamming to a riff I was playing on the electric and some old lyrics I had written a while back. We decided to lay down the acoustic Zane (Harris, fellow band member) wrote, then the electric guitar riff, some drums and bass, then soon after we were left with the surf track Zane and myself had laughed about writing for some time.”
