Howdy, partner.
If you like cold beer, tough ladies and rattlesnakes then you’re gonna love the video for Pete Cullen’s new boot-scootin’ ode to the greatest beverage in the world (in our humble opinion), Young Henrys, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
It started on a still night in the Sunshine State as the Brisbane songwriter was wetting his whistle at a local watering hole.
“I think I was at Lefty’s (Old Time Music Hall) one night and drinking Young Henrys…I went home and I had this song in my head.”
The song also got stuck in the heads of all the people down at Young Henrys as they immediately got on the blower to make this video come to life.

“Having a song written for us is more like winning some bloody karmic lottery!” Young Henrys co-found Oscar McMahon said.
“Pete’s a good mate and an awesome musician so it just seemed right to continue sharing the creative juju with a playful music video to go with the song.”
Enter director Juliet Taylor and choreographer Brianna Kell who transformed the video into a piece of art that even John Wayne himself would be proud of.
Stand offs, finger guns, line dancing, it’s all part of Taylor and Kell’s plan to have you feelin’ like you’re in the wild wild west.
You can watch the video for Young Henrys above, just don’t blame us if you start talkin’ like a cowboy after.
