Charm of FinchesMelbourne sisters Charm Of Finches are making the most out of lockdown, producing a new music video for their track Canyon.
Premiering today The Music, the video’s arrival is accompanied by news of the duo’s forthcoming album.
The third LP from Mabel and Ivy Windred-Wornes, Wonderful Oblivion, will drop next month via New York-based label AntiFragile Music.
On the video for Canyon, they noted: "Ironically the video for our song about flying over a canyon and into the unknown was filmed within the confines of our small flat during Melbourne's lockdown #6.
“We had to make it ourselves, just the two of us, so there are loads of split screen shots. We used a bunch of our mum's old cabaret costumes and wigs.
“It's as DIY as you can get. The transporting power of music is more important than ever right now, with half of the country seeming to be locked down.”
