Caiti BakerOn the back of her 2017-released debut LP, ZINC, and some headline shows earlier this year, Caiti Baker is backing it all up with the brand new music video for Believer, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au today.
"Believer is a song inspired by ego and the over saturation of obsession with self," the Darwin artist said.
"James Mangohig and I wrote it together on guitar, experimenting with chords then developed the production into what you hear today.
"I’m heavily influenced and inspired by gospel music and harmonies and Believer as a concept leant itself naturally to the emotional build and release of vocal and instrumental dynamics."
The clip, produced, directed and edited by Ella Millard, was shot in the early hours of the morning on Sydney's south coast.
Baker will next perform at Bello Winter Music Festival next month alongside names like Justin Townes Earle, Maddy Jane, William Crighton and Lillie Mae; for more details, click on theGuide.
