VIDEO PREMIERE: Ally George - 'Lonely Heart'

A few months back The Music shared Central Coast indie-pop artist Ally George's new single, Lonely Heart, a track that's “the soundtrack to forbidden love and undeserved heartache”.

Today, we're thrilled to share the exclusive premiere of the music video for Lonely Heart.

The infectious pop-rock groove was recorded and mastered at Studios 301 in Sydney, while the clip sees George and her band take over a music shop for the evening. 

"It was so fun to be able to shoot this video with my band, it felt very authentic for me," George told The Music about the making of the clip.

"We all actually work at the music store in the video! It's where we rehearse together after hours so it's nice to turn off the lights, play and be goofy - just this time with a camera!" 

"I wanted to showcase what I do best, and that’s play music. No fancy sets, no big production, this is the real version of me and I hope that’s what comes through."
