"We make music to f*#k to and fight to."

What was the idea behind the Rising Tide video?

Sshh Liguz (vocals): The concept of the Rising Tide video was to engage the audience through the screen the same way we do in reality. A bitches brew of a sexy punk rock performance with raw and real emotion. This is our life, and a glimpse into the method in the madness that we live.

Zak Starkey (guitar): To look like the clubs we have been playing. Cramped and confined.

Director? Location? When was it shot?

Liguz & Starkey: The video is a collaborative piece between Sshh and Billy Zammit. Initially, we had a much more complex vision for the video. It was the beginning of 2018 and we were working at a studio in Byron Bay when and where we decided to simplify it. We wanted to convey the frenzied passion of sshh in the most direct way, whilst still leaving a touch of romantic ambiguity.

How did you want the audience to respond when making the video?

Liguz: We want them to dance! Ha! To have the sshh experience wherever and whoever they are. Whether they’re ready to party with their mates. Or getting up to face the day and need a little extra to get their groove on. I guess what we’re striving for is for the intense artistic emotion we feel to translate in whatever way works for each individual.

Starkey: Confined excitement!

What are you hoping their reaction will be?

Liguz: We’re hoping to ignite some excitement inside everybody. To electrify and engage them. Bring a bit of punk rock electronic love into people’s lives. We make music to f*#k to and fight to. We wanna turn people on to the passion that feeds our hearts and souls.

Starkey: In yr faceness!
