What's your specialty drink? Craft beers from all over, but mainly Victoria. A compact but eclectic little wine list, and our Ducktails.
What are the signature dishes on your menu? Many burger bloggers are big fans of our Wagyu Beef & Bacon Burger, the single and the double. Our triple-cooked chips will tempt even a hardcore weight watcher and we have a way with fish and pork.
What makes your venue different? We are upstairs and we are a giant pub in a fancy ballroom. We love a dinner and show, as the band room and dining area are a one spot stop. We also have the only balcony on Sydney Road.
What's the design/atmosphere of your venue? A 1920s speakeasy, a Deadwood Saloon, or a combination of the two? Our art deco Catherine Martin wallpaper gives a depth of comfort, combined with the crazy randomness of the dropped lamps of your 'own' living room.

Who's one act we should see at your venue soon? Tek Tek Ensemble are playing every Sunday afternoon in October and they are a fabulous headliner for a relaxing Sunday with a healthy amount of insuppressible dancing. It gets silly busy so bookings are very good. Open from 2pm.
Do you have any food/drink specials? The Mallard proudly introduces 'beerfish'. Every week we will choose a craft beer to make our beer batter, wrap it around fish and serve it with all the things fish loves, like chips and salad. Craft pint specials are available each week too.
