'I Wouldn't Change A Thing': Ecca Vandal Reaches New Heights With 'LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW'

Tour Focus: Graeme James

How are you preparing for you Australian tour?

Regular saunas in New Zealand to build my heat tolerance — anything over 32 degrees and I start to melt!

How would you describe Australia in 10 words or less?

Classic.

Any extra-curricular activities you hope to participate in while here?

Hoping to get a couple of solid surfing sessions in-between shows.

What's your favourite thing about Australian audiences?

Great energy and rowdiness.

What's the most exciting show you've ever played?

Playing on the Port Fairy Folk Festival main stage to a ridiculous number of people last year was a pretty solid highlight.

If you could only play one instrument for the rest of your life what would you pick and why?

I'd have to pick the violin/fiddle — I've done far too much practice to give it up now!

Theatres or intimate gigs?

I do love a good house concert.

What will you be taking home as a souvenir?

Hopefully a tan!

If you could play with one Australia artist/band who would it be and why?

The Paper Kites or Boy & Bear — I've loved their music for years.

What's the one thing that you'd like to see more of at your live shows?

Dogs.
