TOUR ESSENTIALS: TOKiMONSTA

TOKiMONSTA will be embarking on a massive AU/NZ tour next month, so it seems almost perfect timing that she let us know what she needs on every tour.

TOKiMONSTA has always been at the forefront of the scene. Getting her start making woozy, cosmic glitch-hop, with a background in classical piano, she became the first female to release music on Flying Lotus' indomitable label Brainfeeder.

Jennifer Lee's latest EP, Desiderium, as well as an acclaimed sunset set at this year’s Coachella has further cemented her reputation as one of electronica's most prolific artists. Creating infectious R'n'B cuts, anchored by jazzy innovative beat patterns, a TOKiMONSTA creation is one for the ages.

Lee will be embarking on a massive AU/NZ tour next month, and will be teaming up with another electronic game changer in The Operatives to help celebrate their 11th Birthday in Melbourne. So it seems almost perfect timing that she let us know what she needs on every tour for our Tour Essentials!

Statement jewelry

When I go on tour, a lot of my wardrobe ends up being black to keep things less complicated. Jewelry is the main way I make an outfit look stage worthy. It also doesn’t take up much space to collect cool pieces on tour.
