TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT: Patrick Wolf

PATRICK WOLF is one of those crazy talented musicians who can play everything from a ukulele to a viola to a grand piano. A mix of classical training and self-taught skills means that his music is constantly evolving and maturing, as he does.

WOLF originally hails from Central London and he released his first E.P (self-produced and written) in 2002 when he was only 19. If that’s not enough to impress you, he has also collaborated with a whole contingent of musicians including the likes of Patti Smith, Angelo Badalamenti, Florence Welch, Marrianne Faithfull, Eliza Carthy, and CocoRosie.

If you’re not 100% sure who this dude actually is, just listen to ‘The City’ below and I’m sure you’ll be all ”…oh yeah, I love that song!” WOLF now has 5 incredible albums to his name and his intimate acoustic tour (he’ll only be playing with one other musician) will no doubt be similar to a packet of every-flavour jelly beans. There’ll be roast romanticism, caramel complexity and shitake mushroom sunniness. OK, so that might not the best analogy but at least I get points for creativity, right?
