Tetrahedra tells us their five favourite homegrown tracks of 2016.
TETRAHEDRA have had a massive year. The band released their EP Glorious, a remix EP and also a two-track that all sound absolutely brilliant! The Melbourne-based group no doubt have a bunch of things planned for 2017 and we just can't wait to see what they have in store.
In the meantime, though, Tetrahedra are playing some end of year shows at Melbourne's The Gasometer for fun and to celebrate, we've asked them to let us know about their favourite homegrown tracks of the year, just to kick things off.
Silent Jay & Jace XL - Rockabye

"Two powerhouses, whose 'Sacrifice' collab is a wondrous RnB gem. They both seemingly have an endless array of content, known throughout Melbourne for churning out fresh music across a range of outlets. Big tune."
Huntly - Sunday Sheets
"We played a show with these beauties earlier this year and fell in love with their uncompromising electro sad bangers. Sunday Sheets is thoughtfully sparse but somehow delivers an undeniable lusciousness. Hot tip: 3:10."
DD Dumbo - Walrus
"A wild arrangement that perfectly frames these surreal vocals. The entire album ‘Utopia Defeated’ is filled with magical moments."
Ngaiire - Diggin
"Do yourselves a favour and see this glorious woman in real life. Her voice, much like her stage presence, is strong, humble and electric all at once. Diggin’ is undoubtedly huge. And that guitar pedal is fucking groovy."
Herzeloyde - Flaht
"Herzeloyde is at the helm of a Melbourne producer scene, making inventive, emotive music, and increasingly getting the international attention he deserves."
