Summer might be over according to the calendar but it doesn't have to be thanks to FlexMami coming through with her ultimate summer jams.

The reigning queen of Sydney, FLEXMAMI, has been on a steady and exciting rise of late. A DJ, presenter and content creator, she's fresh off the back of touring with GEORGE MAPLE on support duties, a mix on triple J and playing just about every show you need to be at in Sydney - just to name a few things she's got going on.

Consistently radiating positivity and a love of life in all that she does, FlexMami also arguably possesses the best range of press shots in this country, always rocking a bright and colourful look and epitomises all the good things about summer - warmth, sunshine, excitement and most importantly, fun. She's firmly on track to become a media #icon, and we are absolutely here for the glow up.

Set to play at ActivateUTS's Summerfest 2018 this weekend, in a celebration that summer's not over just yet, we asked the queen herself what her top five summer jams are and of course, she delivered. Check out her picks below, and catch her this Friday at the UTS Alumni Green from 3pm. More details HERE.

This hugely smooth tune from Hoodboi and Tkay Maidza is exactly what I want from a song. Moody, yet upbeat melodies, singing, rapping, memorable baselines and a unexpected beat change. Yes please.

With 80’s infused synth pop production coupled with PartyNextDoor's infectious Patois lyrics, this track is the epitome of a summer vibe. Calvin can do no wrong.

An oldie but a goodie. It’s like an angel has bottled up 5 litres of love, happiness, clarity and spontaneity and gifted it to you on your birthday. A gift that keeps on giving.

There are few things I like more than this track. Afrobeats is the vital ingredient to a good time.

I’d recommend playing this one while driving with the top down. If you don’t have a car or a convertible, listening to it on the train while looking out the window will do the trick.
