Lionsgate Films has released the newest trailer for the third instalment of The Hunger Games film franchise, Mockingjay: Part 1.
Picking up where second chapter Catching Fire left off, Mockingjay — the final arc of Suzanne Collins' world-beating dystopian young-adult trilogy — canvasses the people of PanEm's final assault on the overbearing Capitol, led by defiant two-time death-games victor Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence).
The film, which was co-written by Peter Craig and ex-Buffy The Vampire Slayer cast member Danny Strong (you might remember him as Jonathan Levinson, diminutive sometime-antagonist for the Scooby Gang), is helmed by Catching Fire director Francis Lawrence, who has previously manned the big chair for other high-profile films as Water For Elephants and I Am Legend, as well as putting in time on the Fox Network's upcoming Bat-universe origin series Gotham. It co-stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, Donald Sutherland and Game Of Thrones' Natalie Dormer.
The Hunger Games — Mockingjay: Part 1 will be released in cinemas on November 20.
