What's the song about?

When shit gets too heavy, turn and walk away. Or set it on fire and don't come back.

Is this track from a forthcoming/existing release?

It's from our upcoming debut album The Dead Beat. We'll be releasing it soon – by the end of this year. We got to put a time limit on these things. Three days to record the album and nearly a year to release.

How long did it take to write/record?

This was the first song we wrote after Ash joined us on the drums: A bottle to write and another bottle to record.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording?

Crazy Horse – Dirty Dirty.

Do you play it differently live?

If I could remember the same guitar part I played on the recording I would do it again.

Will you be launching it?

We'll be travelling around the country starting in Carnarvon WA and finishing up in Melbourne. We got two shows: Saturday 2 June at the Retreat with Them Bruins and Sunday 3 June at Baha Tacos with William Blaxland.
