On Wednesday 19 Aug, Keg & Brew are hoping to make history by hosting the largest number of individual beers on tap by one brewer. The brewer will be Feral Brewing Co, whose beers will be flowing out of all 33 of Keg & Brew's taps. This will cover all of Feral's tastes and styles, from the Hop Hog American IPA/XPA to the Boris Russian imperial stout, Nice Guy Dud Root hand-pumped English brown ale and Pumpkin Bumpkin saison. There'll be free tastings from 5.30-6.30pm, and the brewer will be around for chats.
On top of that, Keg & Brew have created three food specials to match the beers: try the Hopfen Fahrt German IPA chicken strips with Smiths' chips, radish, pickled chili and sriracha mayo, or maybe opt for the Hop Hog XPA marinated pork cutlet schnitzel with apple fennel slaw, onion rings and chilli mayo. To round it all off, the regular Wednesday $9.90 pulled pork po'boy special will be juiced up this day only by infusing the pork with Feral's famous Hop Hog.
