A broken pencil who?

Nevermind. It's pointless.

Briefly describe your show. Brown Is The New Black is me uncovering the thought process behind our need to be cool, to be liked. You know, light-hearted stuff like that. There'll be jokes, there'll be songs, you'll have a great time.

What was the inspiration behind your show? My inspiration comes from my life; the stories I tell and topics I talk about are stuff that I deal with in my day-to-day.

What's a ridiculous situation you've been in that you got a joke from? I had a crush on a girl in one of my classes, I was staring at her in class one day when I saw her accidentally drool. I thought it was pretty funny.

Is there anything that comics shouldn't joke about? Nope. I think everything should be joked about. There are just some topics that require more thought than others. But that's work for the comic, not the audience.

What do you love about Comedy Festival season? I love the atmosphere, of people who might not usually come to watch live comedy coming and enjoying the live art. It's great to hang out with other comedians as well.

When and where is your SCF show? 23 & 24 Apr, Factory Theatre
