Sydney Comedy Focus: Bob Deacon: Eats, Beats And Parakeets

Briefly describe your show. My show has more variety than a really fancy RSL club. You know the ones with a gym, barbershop and travel agent in additional to the regular RSL offerings like a bar and a pokies room? My show has music, beats and dance in addition to the regular comedy offerings like observational humour and a pokies room. 

What happened the last time you were heckled?  A lot of people heckle me by saying I look like the Anglo version of Jesus Christ. This worries me as I'm currently the same age as Jesus was when he was crucified. I am constantly scanning the room for any Pontius Pilate types.

Is there anything that comics shouldn't joke about? John Farnham. He did a tour called The Last Time a few years ago, which people thought was his last tour. Therefore some people were annoyed when he announced subsequent tours. The Last Time was actually the name of the album...

What's a ridiculous situation you've been in that you got a joke from?  I went on a Tinder date to a life drawing class. The catch was that the participants, not just the model, had to be naked. I haven't got a joke for this though.
