Taro's ramen is raved about even interstate. They've got three kinds of tonkotsu as well as other staple broths. If you're not in the mood for soup (guess soup-friendly weather is an only occasional occurrence in these parts) they do a tsukemen option too.

As long as you go to a place that makes authentic Vietnamese cuisine, chances are you'll get a half-way decent bowl of pho. If you're looking for a superior slurp you may have to be choosier, but there's no shortage of knock-out pho places. Many have dubbed Trang the best place to get pho in Brisbane. Other top places for pho: My Pho Bar (Jindalee); The Vietnamese (Fortitude Valley); Vietnam House (city).

The only NASAA certified organic food store in Brisbane; of course they're serving up healthy and delicious soups. Their wholefood juice and cafe bar also offers homemade stews, slices, pies, salads and sushi.
