Queensland punk rock outfit The Wolston Butchers are back with their latest single, Live Dead Die Fast. And today, in an exclusive for The Music, we can give you the first look at the track and the accompanying music video.

The high energy single, slated for release today, delivers the raw energy and rebellious spirit that fans have come to expect from the band.

Fresh off the back of their successful cover of Grinspoon’s More Than You Are, The Wolston Butchers are already feening for their next big hit.

“We're fired up for Live Dead Die Fast to drop," vocalist and guitarist Tom Roedder said in a press release. “It’s a reflection of where we are right now – chaotic, fast, and with a bit of a warning: we’re not slowing down anytime soon.”

Their sound is a mix of '90s flavoured skate-punk, punk rock, and alt rock - so fans can be prepared for a headbanging good time.

Calling Live Dead Die Fast their “biggest song to date”, the Butchers filmed the accompanying music video at Frankx Studio on the Sunshine Coast.

The video itself, which you can find below, is a depiction of the high energy performances punters have come to expect from the band. With jarring camera shots and flashing lights, you’re brought into the world of the song - fast, chaotic, and, above all, punk rock.

To celebrate the track’s release, The Wolston Butchers are heading on a mini tour - hitting Brisbane and the Gold Coast on January 17 and 18, respectively. They’ll be supported by All Hope Remains, Gusset Rats, and Relays. Check The Wolston Butchers’ social media for more information.

‘Live Dead Die Fast’ by The Wolston Butchers is out on all streaming platforms now.
