Bold vocals, emotive guitar riffs and a solid beat.
The new cut from Victorian indie rock outfit The Settlement, Take It Slow, is a reminder to do just that.
It’s the latest taste of the band’s forthcoming second album, set for release later this year and follows on from Loving On You.
The song is about taking a step back and appreciating things for what they are; a message driven by bold vocals, emotive guitar riffs and a solid beat.
The Settlement will embark on a supporting tour this weekend, performing at Port Fairy Folk Festival before playing other festivals and headline shows throughout March – May.
